JESUS THE UNKNOWN GOD

I have been sitting here thinking, what I should speak/teach regarding the Holy Scriptures as I was going through my class notes I saw the title, “Jesus the Unknown God”. I concluded that this would be the perfect subject to post about.

Everyone says they know Jesus, especially church folks, however, do they really. The Jesus of the Bible did not start with Mary, but is from everlasting to everlasting, Psalms 106:48. You see, no man has ever seen Jesus, John 1:18, only the begotten Son which is in the bosom of the Father, He hath declared Him.

Moses Saw God, Exodus 33:12-23; Exodus 34:1-9, and heard His voice, because when God passed by Moses He proclaimed the name of the Lord. The scripture does not say what name He proclaimed, but we do know that Moses knew God’s name, Exodus 6:2-3. But what name did the Lord proclaim to Moses?

Turn to John 5:37, we read where Jesus the Christ is telling the Jews, “You have never heard the Father’s voice nor seen His shape. Now, Moses heard His voice and saw God’s shape, Exodus 33:23. Jesus also tells us the Father’s name, for Jesus said that He came in the Father’s name. Now, some teach that He is not saying that Jesus is the Father’s name, when He clearly says, “I come in My Father’s name”. If this line of reasoning be the case, “What name did He come in?”
First, let’s take a look at Matthew 28:19. Here we see Jesus telling His disciples to baptize in the name of the Father, and the Son and the Holy Ghost. Well, if we are to baptize in the Father’s name we must know it. Turn to Philippians 2:5-6, these scriptures say when Jesus Christ was in the form of God, He was equal to God.

Let’s find out when Jesus was in the form of God, and what His name was. Turn to Exodus 6:2-3, the Lord tells Moses that His name is Jehovah. He was the One which came down on the mountain and gave them the Ten Commandments, Exodus 19:15-25; Exodus 20:1-17.
He also followed them in the wilderness in a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night, Exodus 13:21-22. Now, turn to 1 Corinthians 10:1-4, we read that it was Christ that followed them in the wilderness, when His name was Jehovah. Other Scriptures will tell you how a body was prepared for Him by the Father, Hebrew 10:5, so that He could die for the sins of the people. In Philippians 2:7-10 we read here that God gave him (Jehovah) a name above every name. He (the Father) gave Him (Jehovah) His name Jesus, “that every knee shall bow at the name of Jesus”.

So, we see that the Father gave Jehovah His name when He became man (flesh and blood). The Lord said in Psalms 22:1, 16-18, 22, that He will declare the Father’s name in the midst of the congregation. In Hebrews 2:9, 12, we see that it is Jehovah/Jesus that was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, and that he would declare they name unto my brothers in the midst of the church (Israel). In John 17th chapter, Jesus knew when His hour was come, he prayed to the Father to give back the glory He had with the Father before the world was, John 17:5, and he also revealed the Father’s name to the men that were with Him, John 17:6. He also said that He declared the Father’s name to them (the congregation) and will declare it, John 17:26.

So, I ask, what name did Jesus declare? It is the Father that sent Jesus in His name. So many people kick against the name of Jesus or say that there are other names that are God’s name, but the Lord said that His name would be great among the Gentiles and nations, Malachi 1:11.
All we have to do is find out what name the Gentiles call on and preach about the most and you have found out God’s name. In Isaiah 12:2, we read where Jehovah has become our salvation. When did Jehovah become our salvation? Before we go read it, let’s take a quick detour. Turn to Jeremiah 15:16, the Lord Jehovah said, “I am called by Thy name Lord God of Hosts”. Now, what name would that be?

Let’s read when Jehovah became out salvation, in Acts 4:10, 12, we see that God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Neither is there salvation in any other name under heaven whereby men might be saved but, Jesus. So what is the name of the one that sent Jehovah? It is the Father whose name is Jesus!

This is the God that no man has ever heard His voice or seen His shape, John 5:37. Jesus tells us throughout the gospel that He was sent by the Father. Jesus tell us, also, that the words that He speaks are not His, but the Father’s, John 14:24, which gave them to Him, Revelation 1:1.
Let’s turn to John 6:38-40. Jesus tells us that He came down to do the will of Him that sent Me. He also says the same thing when he was Jehovah. Turn to Isaiah 48:16, here he tells us that the Lord God hath sent Me. In Zechariah 2:7-11, the Lord tells Israel that the Lord of Host hast sent Him , read verse 8 and you see the Lord is talking about being sent, also, in verse 11, He says the same thing.

Here, if you have any understanding, you can see that Jehovah is telling us that He was sent by Jesus, who is the Father.

You know, what I really do not understand is how people can change or try to change God’s words, like the dietary laws, law of circumcision; the Sabbath day, etc., etc., etc., because these are the Father’s words that He gave to Jehovah, who gave them to us. But people have lied on His (the Father’s) words, Isaiah 24:5. Some think that they can do this and the Father (Jesus) won’t get angry.

Let’s take a look at a time when Jesus (the Father) got angry. In Matthew27:45-51, we read where the Lord Jesus was on the cross and that it god dark at noon. Now why did it get dark from the sixth hour until the ninth hour, over all the land? Then Jesus cried unto the Father and some said let him be “let’s see if Elias will save Him”. After this Jesus cried again and gave up the ghost (died). The veil in the temple ripped and the earth quaked, while they were busy crucifying the Lord, the Father became angry. Turn to Psalms 18:6-12, here we read that the Lord called unto the Father (Jesus) and He heard His voice in His temple and He came down and He was wroth (angry) He made darkness His secret place and rode upon a cherub.

So you can see the Father was angry, and He came down to see what they were doing to His son. Now, you know why it became dark at noonday. That is why Jesus told His son to sit at His right hand until He makes His enemies His footstool, Psalms 110:1.

The Father sits on a throne in Heaven, Revelation 5:1, this is where Jesus is sitting at the right hand of the Father. Jesus never promised us that we would sit with the Father on His throne, as He has, but that we would sit with Him on His throne, Revelation 3:21, the throne that the Father gave Him, Luke 1:26-27, 30-33, the throne of His father David. Let’s just find out where David’s throne is.

In 1 Chronicles 29:26-27, we read that David’s throne is in Jerusalem. So Jesus will pick up His Kingship of Israel when He returns to the Earth, the title that He had before when He was Jehovah. 1 Samuel 8:5-7, 1 Samuel 12:1, 12. We see that Jesus, the Son’s, throne will be in Jerusalem. And Jesus, whom no man has ever seen dwells in Heaven. He is waiting for His creation to become perfect, which the Word will do. Oh yes, the Word is Jehovah, who became flesh. In John 1:1-3, John 1:14, if you look closely at what verses 1-3 are really saying: In the beginning was Jehovah (the Word) and Jehovah (the Word) was with Jesus (Father God), and Jehovah was God, Jehovah has been with Jesus (Father God) from the beginning, and Jehovah (the Word) created all things. Jehovah is also the beginning of Jesus’ (the Father’s) creation, Revelation 3:14.

Now, I want to ask, when did the Father’s creation begin? I thought on the matter and was in church when we were doing a lesson and it was revealed to me. I was giving thought about the creation after reading Revelation 3:14, I was thinking about the Angels, when they were created, I also was thinking about the dinosaurs, which were on the earth and created before Adam on the other side of the first flood, (you know, the one in Genesis 1:1-2), when I realized that flesh and blood can not enter into the Father’s Kingdom, 1 Corinthians 15:50. For you see the Son has a Kingdom that the Father will give Him, Daniel 7:13-14. Now in the Son’s Kingdom there will be spirit beings and flesh and blood beings.

So, I ask, if this is Jehovah’s Kingdom, which will be on the Earth and His Kingdom really began with the creation of Adam and Eve, in Genesis 1 and 2, then when did the Father's Kingdom begin? It began when Jesus rose from the dead. That is when Jesus (who was Jehovah) became the Father’s Son, Romans 1:3-4. He received all power, like the Father has, Matthew 28:18. The Father’s Kingdom will have no flesh and blood creatures, and that is why Jesus told us in John 3:3, except a man be born again he can not see the Kingdom of God (the Father). As Jesus said in Revelation 3:14, He is the beginning of the Father’s creation, in Colossians 1:15 it tells us that Jess is the first born of every creature (Sons of God), that will be in the fathers kingdom (Paradise).

Let’s take a look at the Father’s Kingdom, which will come after Jesus has ruled on the earth for a thousand years, with His Saints, Revelation 20:4. For He must put down all rule and authority and Power, then He will deliver up the Kingdom to the Father, then the end will come,

1 Corinthians 15:24-26, and New Jerusalem, the Father’s Kingdom, will come down from Heaven.

Let us take a look at Jesus’ (the Father’s) Kingdom, in John 14:2 Jesus tells us there are many mansions in His Father’s house. Now if there are many mansions in His (the Father’s) house, who will dwell in them? The Father’s house is the Holy City, Revelation 21:2, New Jerusalem which is in heaven, that will come down to us. This is the City that comes down after the second resurrection, it has twelve gated and at the twelve gates, twelve Angels and the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel, Revelation 21:12. The city is laid out as a square, the length of it; the breath of it; and the height of it is the same, 15,000 miles long, 15,000 miles wide, and 15,000 miles high. Can you even imagine buildings that tall?

Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 2:9, “eye has not seen, nor ear hear what God (the Father) has prepared for them that love Him.

Most people do not know that it is the Father (Jesus) that will burn up the earth with fire, before He brings His kingdom down. This will happen after the Son (Jesus/Jehovah) has reigned on this earth for one thousand years with His Saints, then Satan will be released from his prison, and after the thousand years to go out and deceive the nations. To go up to Jerusalem and attack the camp of the Saints, and fire will come down out of heaven and devour them. 2 Peter 3:6-7, tells us that the world that was destroyed by water; will be destroyed by fire, then comes the Judgment Day for all who cam not up in the first resurrection.

So you see it is the Father who sent fire down from heaven, because Jesus is already on the Earth. After the earth is cleansed, then New Jerusalem will come down, and the nations which are saved shall walk in the light of it, Revelation21:24. These nations are not flesh and blood, but Spirits for flesh and blood can not enter the Father’s Kingdom.

The Son, (Jehovah) come to the Earth on the seventh day. The Father (Jesus) comes to the earth on the eighth day. Yes, I said the eighth day, which the Pastors, Priests, Shepherds do not teach people. Read Leviticus 23:36-39, it tell about the Eighth Day, which represents the starting of something new; the beginning of another week. You can go The Israel of God’s website, to get the lesson on the Eighth Day, which was observed on October 21, 2008.

All things were given by the Father to Jesus (Son/Jehovah), John 12:49-50. Read 1 John 5:7, 10, as we read, we see that the Father gave Jesus the record. Turn to Revelation 1:1, here we read the same thing, that the Father gave the Son the record.

Now I do not claim to know how at the beginning Jehovah and Jesus took counsel on who would become the Father and who would become the Son, because they were equal. If you turn to Psalms 55:14 it tells us that they took sweet counsel together and walked unto the house of God in company. Have you ever wondered who it was that is sitting on a throne in Revelation 5:1, holding a Book in His right hand? We know that the Lamb took the Book out of the right hand of Him that sat upon the throne, Revelation 5:5-7, it is the Father, His name is Jesus. When we pray we pray to the Father in heaven asking Him to bring His Kingdom to Earth, Matthew 6:9-13.

In closing, I hope someone has gotten an understanding of the Godhead—Jehovah and Jesus—Jehovah became flesh and took on the name of Jesus—which is the Father’s name—the Father which NO MAN has seen or heard at any time, John 1:18.

If you have any questions, please ask!
