THE SEVENTH DAY OF THE WEEK

I was reading a letter that was posted on the internet about the Sabbath Day and when it is--first day or seventh day. Well, everyone knows or should know that there are seven days in a week, Sunday being the first day and Saturday being the seventh day. The Lord numbered the days and blessed and sanctified (set apart) only one, the seventh day, Gen. 2:3.

But now in the last times, they think to change what God has blessed—to their own destruction. Because, if you read the first and second chapters of Genesis you will notice that the Lord blessed the seventh day before man was created. The Lord, as I have said, numbered the days and man gave each day a name. Let us take a look at the days.

God created the heavens and earth in six days, Gen. 1:1-31, and in Gen. 2:1-3, He rested on the seventh day. Man was created on the sixth day of the Lord’s creation, which is man’s first day, Gen. 1:26-30.

Before we go any further, turn to 2 Pet. 3:8, we read where one day the Lord’s Day is one thousand of our years. Now, let us continue on. Man was created on the sixth day of the Lord’s creation, which is man’s first day of existence. In Leviticus 23:1, 3, we read where the Lord tells us that we are to work six days and rest on the seventh day. Let us take a look at this seventh day and what it really means because it is a part of God’s plan. If you understood Leviticus 23, you would understand God’s plan. Yes God has a plan and the seventh day is a great part of it.
Now, let’s take a look at this plan. When God created man, He created him to become His sons and to be over the work of His hand, Psalms 8:3-8. Man was created in a flesh and blood body, but would receive s spirit body. Let us take a look at how long God’s plan is for man to be in the flesh body, for “flesh and blood can not inherit the Kingdom of God, 1 Cor. 15:20.

We read how God created heaven and Earth in six days and rested on the seventh day, then He tells man to work six days and rest on the seventh day.

Now let’s look at this part of the plan—God worked six day and rested the

GOD’S CREATION WEEK: Each day = one thousand years

x x x x x x 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 Man's Rest + Day of the Lord

At the end of the twelve thousand years comes the end of and blood; the Father's Kingdom comes

Man was created on the sixth day of God’s creation week, which is also man’s first day; man is told to work six days and rest the seventh day. In Deut. 32:5-8, the Lord tells us that He made us, and the father’s and elders would tell you when he separated the sons of Adam, He set the bounds according to the number of the children of Israel, who had twelve sons. You know, like twelve months in a year; twelve hours in a day; twelve hours in a night; twelve gates of New Jerusalem (Paradise); twelve apostles, and so on.

Let us take a look at what He told the children of Israel who were in the wilderness for forty years, who tempted the Lord. You do not want to be like them, “harden not your heart as they did in the wilderness, when you hear His voice, Psalms 95:7-10. Now, if you read verse :11, He swore in His wrath that they should not enter into My rest. Wait a minute, what is the Lord saying here, “They will not enter His rest. I thought He already rested in Genesis 2:3. Turn to John 5:1-13, Jesus has healed a man on the seventh day (Sabbath), and the Jews sought to kill Him for working on the Sabbath Day. Jesus said in verse: 17 that He works and the Father also works. So now we know that they, the Father and Son are still working. So what is this rest that the Lord id talking about in Psalms 95:11, that they will not enter into. Turn to Hebrews 4:1-11, we read that the Gospel was preached to them as well as unto us. Yes the same Gospel is preached to all that believe in the TRUTH. Now, Jesus if He had given them rest He would not have spoken of another day. So, when is this day that Jesus is speaking of that they shall not enter, because of unbelief? Let’s take a look at the chart.

The Lord set the bounds according to the number of the sons of Israel—twelve, from the first day that God said, “Let there be light to the seventh day of man is 12,000 years, for each day is a thousand years with the Lord, 2 Peter 3:8. So, man’s rest from his work is when the Lord comes back to rule for a thousand years. Man will only be in a flesh and blood body for seven days. The seventh day is the Lord’s Day or the Day of the Lord. In Isaiah 12:9-10, we see in that day the Lord will destroy the sinners out to the land. There is so much, much more that can be written about the seventh day. However, this is one of the reasons that the seventh day as well as the Lord’s other Sabbath Days are kept, to show us of things to come, Colossians 2:16-17.
The question should not be which day is the Sabbath day, or which day should we worship on. The question should be, how long before the seventh day of our creation will come and what day of the creation week are we in?

Now, I know that this may be hard to understand for this is meat and not milk, but the seventh day represents the Lord's day of Rest. That is why this day is sanctified in Genesis 2:3.

The Lord CAN NOT Come Any Day

I was reading comments between Independent Conservative and my sister King's Kid, in regards to the Lord's coming "any day".

Well, IC, the Lord has a plan, whether you know it or not, and will not come until certain things come to pass. I read where you told King's Kid what she has been taught is wrong. In order to make such a statement, you have to think you were taught right, and know some things.

Well, let me ask you:

Do you know what Jesus is saying in Matthew 24:15? Do you know what the Abomination of Desolation is? Do you know who the woman in the twelfth chapter of Revelation is, Rev 12:1, and who she is travailing in birth pains to be delivered? Do you know why the Holy Angel told Cornelius in Acts 10:1-8 to send for Peter to tell him what he should do to get salvation, instead of the Angel telling him himself? What is the Father's name and what is the Son's name? What is the name of the Holy Ghost? What is Paul's job? How many heavens are there and where are they?

So, before you say someone has been taught wrong, make sure you are being taught right. Oh yes, Jesus can not come any day, He must come on a certain day. If you understood Leviticus 23:1-27, you would understand the Plan of God.

Just one more question: Who is the woman in Revelation 17, that is riding a beast with seven heads and ten horns? Oh yes, by the way, I can show you on what day the Lord is coming, because, He will do nothing--Read Amos 3:6-7.

I will be posting on all of these matters by subject and title.

Peace,
Bro. Ty
