DON'T LET THE DEVIL DECEIVE YOU!

Dear Followers, this Post started as a response to a comment to my last Post The Devil Deceiveth the Whole World the sentiments encapsulated in the two responses from the commenter is the central theme of the error of Modern-Day Christendom. Herein is my response to the errant theology of man.

I see you are still persistent in saying that all Scriptures in the Holy Bible "are not for us today". Even though Jesus says, “He does not change” . What are you saying? Is it that, “The law is no more”, or that, “The law was only for Moses and the Prophets?

First off, Moses had no law. It is not the Law of Moses, it is the Law of the Lord. As for the congregation, Israel is the Church that was in the days of Moses, Acts 7:37-38. That same church (Israel) is the congregation of the Lord, 1 Chronicles 28:8.

Even before Jesus was born the Angel told Mary that she would have a son and He would sit on the throne of His father David, and shall reign over the house of Jacob (Israel) for ever, Luke 1:26-33.
Israel is the congregation, and if you want your salvation, you must do all the things that Israel did, whose father was Abraham, John 8:39, and what did faithful Abraham do? He kept the Lord’s commandments, statues and laws, Genesis 26:5. Yet you say the Law is no more; that we are under grace.

If Israel is not the Church, please show me one Prophet or Apostle, or King, or Priest, that was not an Israelite! As for the son that was stoned to death for disobedience, Deuteronomy 21:18-21, and the people that made the Golden calf, while Moses was up on Mount Sinai with the Lord, Genesis 32:1-35, and worshipped the calf; three thousand men died that day, and there are many more stories like that.

However, today people pay no attention. Take for example, the children of Israel found a man gathering sticks on the Sabbath Day, they brought him to Moses because they did not know what to do with him. The Lord said unto Moses, “The man shall be put to death, Numbers 15:32-36. For that is what the Lord told Moses in Exodus 31:14.

Now the reason that these things were done, was for our example, 1 Corinthians 10:1-7. If you were to keep reading in 1 Corinthians 10, you see that there were many examples of the children of Israel being disobedient. See, because a son is disobedient today, or one pollutes the Sabbath, and is not put to death, just know, that they are not getting away, they are just getting by until the Lord comes.

Remember when the scribes and Pharisees brought a woman to Jesus, whom they had caught in adultery, in the very act, John 8:1-18. They quoted to Him the Law of Moses, really God’s Law, Leviticus 20:1, 10. The law stated that the woman should be stoned, however, Jesus told them, “He who is without sin among you, let him cast the first stone.” You see, we all sin and are unclean. That is why people are not put to death.

Remember what Jesus told the woman when her accusers were all convicted in their own hearts, and went their separate ways? He told the woman, “Go and sin no more”, which is a warning that we all should take very seriously. The Lord gave a parable of the Wheat and Tares, Matthew 13:24-30, :36-42, in which the Lord said “Let the tares and the wheat grow together, and that He would separate them at the harvest”, which is the end of the world; the White Throne Judgment.

The "Wheat" is the good seed and the "Tares" are the children of the wicked one. The enemy that sowed them is the Devil. That is why people that do not keep the Sabbath, or dietary laws, or honor and keep the Lord’s Holy Days, and say that that “the law is no more”, are the tares of this world and the Lord and His Angels will separate them at the harvest (Judgment Day).

These same Scriptures, that you say are not for us today, are the same ones that will be a witness against all the people which say that these Scriptures “are not for us”, Revelation 20:12, 15. As for the books that were opened, the Bible is the “books”, and the “other book” is the Lamb’s Book of Life. The Scriptures say, “…and the dead were judged out of the things which are written in the books, according to their works”. Now, I ask are you wheat, or a tare that is just getting by, but not getting away??

Oh, by the way, the Body of Christ is Israel – the Church! God’s word was good then; all of it is good for us today.

Peace,
Bro Tyrone

GOD HATES THE SIN, NOT THE SINNER----REALLY?

Does God Love Everyone?

Source: The Israel Of God, Bible Study Class

Christendom repeatedly says thing like, “God Loves us all so much that He will save us all”, or “God hates the sin, but loves the sinner”; or “God is love, and will not send anyone to hell.” Christendom teaches that God is so full of love, that He simply cannot send anyone to eternal hell fire; it is against His infinite love. They want God to forgive all, even those who openly reject Him and die cursing God. I must admit, it is nice to think of God’s love being so infinitely great that all will ultimately be saved.

The lake of fire (hell) is a terrible place and I don’t want anyone to go there. But it does not matter what I think. It matters what the Bible says: God is love (1John 4:8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.), but God punishes the sinner and hates all who do iniquity. God is not one sided, He is not simply an infinitely loving God, He is also infinitely just. He must deal with sin, He must punish the sinner, He cannot lie: Titus 1:2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;...

In the truth of God’s word, we find that the Lord has provided one way by which we may be saved. That single way is through Jesus’ sacrifice. For all who trust in Him, and do His commandments, salvation will come. But, to those who turn away, God’s wrath abides upon them: John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

Q: Does God hate anyone? A: Yes!

· Psalms 5:5 The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.

· Psalms 11:5 The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence His soul hateth.

· Leviticus 20:23 And ye shall not walk in the manners of the nation, which I cast out before you: for they committed all these things, and therefore I abhorred them.

· Proverbs 6:16-19 These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: 17A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, 18An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, 19A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

· Hosea 9:15 All their wickedness is in Gilgal: for there I hated them: for the wickedness of their doings I will drive them out of mine house, I will love them no more: all their princes are revolters.

Are these verses hard to read? Do they make you feel uncomfortable? They should. God hates sin, but , He does not punish sin, He punishes the sinner. Sin cannot be tied up and thrown into a fire. It cannot be put in a box or glued to a stick. It is rebellion, it is rebellion in the heart! It is breaking God’s Law. Sin occurs inside the heart which is the mind of people. Therefore, God must punish the sinner, Isaiah 26:21 For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.

Why? Because He is both Holy and Just and the person who sins offends God. God’s Holy and Just character will not allow Him to ignore this offense. Remember that Numbers 23:19 says: God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

God’s Law is Perfect

When God said, in Genesis 1:3, “Let there be light”, it happened. When He commanded the oceans to be; they came into existence. God’s word is powerful. What He says is never futile, empty, or without power. The Law is a reflection of God’s character. It is pure: Proverbs 30:5; perfect: Psalm 19:7; it is powerful: Hebrews 4:12.

The Ten Commandments reflect God’s holiness and justice. These commandments are not without punishments. A law without consequences is only an empty slogan. To sin is to break God’s Law: 1 John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law; and offend His character. To sin means to challenge His character and authority. It means you go against His word. Now, keep in mind: Hebrews 6:18 That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: He has said it, and it will be accomplished.

But, praise be to God, Romans 5:6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

There is no way we can be clean before God. That is why God became one of us, John 1: 1 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God, 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth; Hebrews 2:17 Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people , to take our place and become sin on our behalf; 2 Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Therefore, people have two options:

1. Trust Jesus, God in flesh, as your Savior and put your faith in the sacrifice that He made on the cross and in nothing that you do

2. Reject Jesus and the sacrifice that He made and let the penalty of the Law fall upon you.

Either God pays (eternal life in the Kingdom) or you do (eternal life in the Lake of Fire), forever.

Which will it be? Hebrews 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins... If there is no sacrifice available for you, then God’s wrath abides upon you because He hates sin and your sin is not removed; John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. Trust Jesus alone or the wrath of God will abide upon you forever.

The sobering fact is that God is so holy and righteous that He hates the sinner, Psalm 5:5; Leviticus 20: 23; Proverbs 6:16-19; Hosea 9:15.

Some say that we should say that God only hates the sin but lover the sinner, however, the above scriptures speak contrary to that.

· Proverbs 8:17 I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.

· John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

It is better to accept the love of God found in Jesus than to reject it and suffer His wrath.
I believe, therefore, I speak

Always remember that there is peace in Jesus. May the Lord God give skill and understand to all who truly seek the truth. In Jesus name, Amen!

Peace

Come Read, Leave Comments

I was reading some of the statements made on the subject of eating the fruit from the tree of knowledge of Good and Evil which was in the Garden of Eden. I wrote a Post on this same subject and I would like you comments on it.

King’s Kid asked the question, “What was the Fruit that they ate from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil? When she asked the question she was trying the spirits, and also finding out if anyone could answer the question.

Well, if you read our Blogs you will find the answer as to what this fruit is. Oh Yes, the war in Heaven, Revelation 12:7-9, happened before man was created. Because, the serpent (Devil) was on the earth and In the garden of Eden when Adam was created. No we should not speculate. If we want to know the answer to a question in the Bible we should find it in the Bible and not guess. For, the Scriptures are "of no private interpretation", 2Peter 1:19-21. So would you read our post on the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil?

NO MAN ASCENDS TO THE THIRD HEAVEN, EXCEPT THE LORD!

Posted by
Brother Tyrone

I was discussing with a friend about going to heaven, and where in the scriptures you might find it. Of course, I knew that there are no scriptures of going to heaven, where our Lord Jesus Christ lives with the Father and the Holy Angels.

In John 3:13, we read where Jesus was talking to Nicodemus and one of the statements that He made was, “…no man has ascended up to heaven”. Now when Jesus said this, you would think that is the end of the conversation of going to heaven, but it is not. So let’s find out if we can find where Heaven is that Jesus says in John 7:33-34: “Where I go you can not come’. Yes, Jesus said that you can not come where He and the Father dwell. So, how can anyone be in Heaven, except God and the Holy Angels?

In 2 Corinthians 12:2-4, Paul talks of Jesus going to the third heaven Wait a minute, did he say—the third heaven? Where are the first and second heavens? What I will do at a later date is write about the creation in more detail, but for now I will show the three heavens. In the first chapter of Genesis the Lord divided the waters from the waters and there was firmament between the waters. In Genesis 1:6-7, And the Lord called the firmament Heaven that was under the water that was above. God put the sun, moon stars in the firmament of heaven, Genesis 1:14-17. This is the second heaven.

If you have ever flown in an airplane, then you have been to heaven, the second heaven where the clouds, moon, sun and stars are. For the earth is still in the water. 2 Peter 3:5 tells us that the Earth is in the water that is above and out of the water that is on the Earth. So, above the stars is water that separates the heavens. Turn to Psalms 148:2-5, we read in Psalms that the water separates the heavens, the second and third heaven, which is the Heaven of Heavens, where the Lord lives with the Father and Holy Angels.

The Earth is also called heaven, in Matthew 24:31, we read where Jesus refers to he Earth as Heaven when He talks of His Angels gathering His elect from one end of heaven (Earth) to the other. Now that we can see that there are three heavens, let’s continue on and see if anyone was taken up to the third heaven.

In 2 Kings 2:1, it sounds like Elijah was taken to Heaven by the Lord. Skip down and read verse 2:11, where Elijah was taken up in a chariot into heaven. But not the third heaven, for the Lord said, no man can come where He is. The heaven that Elijah was taken up to was the second Heaven. Now, skip down to 2 Kings 2:15-17, we read how the sons of the Prophets would like to go and find Elijah. It seems that they knew he was just sent to some place else on the earth. They also worried that he may have been cast upon a mountain or in some valley. The people in that time knew that on one could go to Heaven. We also read in 2 Chronicles 21:12-15, how later Elijah wrote a letter to Jehoram, the son of Jehoshaphat, King of Judah, telling him about all of his wickedness and how he made Judah to sin. Elijah had to still be some place on the Earth to be able to write a letter to Jehoram, King of Judah.

Some people read in 2 Corinthians 5:1 and take this to mean that they are going to heaven to receive their tabernacle (body), but if you keep reading, in 2 Corinthians 5:2, it tells you that your house comes from Heaven, you are not going to heaven to get you body.

Well, let’s just see who wants to go to Heaven and who tells you that you are going to Heaven. In Revelation 12:7-9 we read that there was war in Heaven and the Devil and his angels were cast out. So, the Devil and his angels were cast out, they were cast into the Earth. Jesus said Himself in Luke 10:18, that He beheld Satan fall from Heaven. Now we know that Satan, who came from Heaven and the angels that followed him, were cast to the Earth, to deceive the whole world. How has he deceived the whole world? He did it with false doctrine.

He is the one that says you are going to Heaven, because he wants to go back to Heaven. Turn to Isaiah 14:12-14, you see that Lucifer (the devil) wants to return to heaven (make his homecoming), the one that came from Heaven.

He, also, is the God of this world. Turn to 2 Corinthians 4:4, and we read how the God of this world has blinded (deceived) the people. Turn to Luke 4:5-7, here we read that the Devil wants to be worshipped, for all the kingdoms had been delivered to him and he will give the glory of them to whomsoever will worship him.

Now, mind you, that he is speaking to the Lord, who was at that time in the flesh. So, now we know who is the God of this world and wants to go to heaven.

He, also, has Shepherds, Watchmen; that put forth his gospel. Turn to Isaiah 56:9-11, it says “his watchmen”. In 2 Corinthians 11:3-4, 13-15 we read of the Apostles that preach another Jesus, who transform themselves into the Apostles of Christ, but are really ministers of the Devil teaching people that they are going to Heaven and that the first day of the week is the Sabbath Day.

In Acts 2:29, 34 we read that David is both dead and buried and has not ascended up into the Heavens. Now if David is not in Heaven, then how can you say anyone else is in Heaven? I know that you can get into the air, 1 Thessalonians 4:17, but nowhere in the scriptures can you read where we will go to Heaven and be with the Lord.

Remember what the Lord told Adam in Genesis 3:19, “..from dust you came and to dust you return”, not from Heaven you came and to Heaven you will go. Every person who dies makes his homecoming, when he is buried in the ground. Now, I ask you, who went to Heaven that has died, except Jesus?

When Jesus rose He was not there, Matthew 28:5-6, His body was gone. So, how come everyone else’s body is still here , that is, if they have gone to Heaven? I pray that you can see no one is in Heaven, but Elohim and the Angels. Just think about this, when you say the Lord’s prayer Matthew 6:9-13, you are asking for the Kingdom to come to Earth. Even Job talked of being asleep in the grave till the Heavens be no more; that he would be there until the Lord call him, Job 14:10-15. So even Job knew he was not going to Heaven, because, he asked that the Lord hide him in the grave till His wrath is past.

In John 5:25, 28-29, we read that Jesus talks about calling all from the grave—not calling all from heaven. If you read very carefully, He is talking about the first and second resurrections. In Revelation 20:4-6, you read about the first and second resurrections. As you have read, those that come up in the first resurrection, will reign with Christ a thousand years. However, the rest of the dead live not again until the thousand years were finished.

Nowhere do you read that anyone is in Heaven, even when you read Solomon’s writing, Ecclesiastes 9:4-5, he talks about “the dead know not anything”:

So I ask: Why Do Preachers Keep Teaching A Lie—the lie being that when you die you are going to Heaven?

Here is the answer: John 8:44

Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

JESUS THE UNKNOWN GOD!

Scroll to the bottom of this page to view video: Allow Me To Re-Introduce the Christ

The young woman in the video, Blair Wingo, of The Passion for Christ Movement, Want to re-introduce the Christ, however, I say to you that Jesus is the Unknown God. Few of you even realize that Jesus, when He was in the form of God, gave us His laws, statutes, and ordinances forever. Most people believe that Jesus/Jehovah came to kill the very laws that HE gave on Mt. Sinai. Nothing could be further from the truth. Perhaps if you can see that Jesus and Jehovah are one and the same you will think twice about disobeying His words.

In John 1:18 Jesus said that man has never had any interaction with the Father. However, in Ex 24:9-11 Moses and seventy-three elders saw the God of Israel, they ate and drank in His presence. Paul knew that Jesus was also Jehovah, 1Cor 10:1-4 the spiritual Rock that led the children in the wilderness. Jesus is the God that hates evil, the God that punished the children of Israel with snakes, 1Cor 10:5-6 Paul is telling us to take heed of the examples and he warns us in 10:9 not to tempt Christ.

In Psalms 95:6-11 this is Jehovah who became Jesus that is speaking. Paul reminds us in Heb 4:1, to be mindful of entering into God’s rest 4:6 this scripture says that those in the wilderness tempted CHRIST, Paul tells us that it was Jesus that made the promise.

In John 5:37, Jesus says again that no man has seen the Father. Man has only dealt with Jehovah/Jesus. Genesis through Malachi speaks of Jesus as God becoming man. Jesus/ Jehovah introduces Himself as the Creator, that submitted Himself to the Father to redeem man from sin. In Phil 2:5-8 Paul tell us Jesus was God before coming as the Son of man, Phil 2:9-11 because of His obedience the Father has highly exalted Him. In Malachi 1:11 Jehovah tells us that the name of Jesus will be great among the Gentiles.

In Isaiah 7:10 God gave King Ahaz a sign that Jesus would be born of a virgin, the Holy Spirit repeated it in Matthew 1:18, 22 In 1Timothy 3:16 Paul tells us God came forth in the flesh and in Hebrews 2:9 that Jesus came to die as our sin offering/sacrifice, that we may have a right (once again) to the Tree of Life, 2:16-18 shows that because He lived in this flesh suit, right now He is a merciful High Priest.

Isaiah speaks of Jesus’ dominion Isa 9:6-7 as does the Holy Spirit, Gabriel, Luke 1:26, 30-33, also Daniel spoke about Jesus Daniel 7:13-14 and mentions the saints 7:18. In Matthew 25:31 Jesus is quoting the Prophets and in Revelation 3:20 He tells the reward of being SAVED.

All the Prophets and Apostles knew the true story of the coming of the Kingdom of Heaven and they have faithfully written it down. A word to the wise, get into God's word and seek and search for Him as if searching for treasure, and the True and Living God will meet you there.

Peace to All
